Dogs & Toddlers™ is the ideal program for families with dogs and babies who are soon to be crawling or walking. Often the first 3 months have gone smoothly and many families are caught off guard when their dog begins to show discomfort with the new developmental changes of their mobile baby.

This program offers insight and proactive options for some of the common challenges families with dogs experience as baby becomes mobile.

This class will cover:

• Answers to your questions about dog and toddler dynamics

• Must-know information for parents who have babies soon to be crawling or walking

• Advice about common trouble spots between toddlers and dogs in a home

• Practical solutions, from activities to include your dog to daily routines and management

• Insight into how your changing family dynamics may affect your dog

The Dogs & Storks® program is perfect for expecting families with dogs as they prepare for life with baby. We offer positive, practical, and fun solutions that will help you include your dog once baby arrives.

The class will cover:

• Tips to begin preparing with your family dog for life with baby

• Must-know information for expecting parents with dogs

• Practical solutions, you can have fun while your dog learns!

• Education on dog body language that will enhance your bond and success

• Thorough preparation, because proactive preparation is the best plan

• Ongoing support through your baby’s first years

Clothing requirements: Clean, gently used infant, toddler, and/or children's clothing with no stains, fading, tears, or holes.

Clothing donations: Bags of clothing are accepted during Relief Center open hours (M, T, R, F, 9a-1p) until Friday March 22nd. When you drop off your donation, a staff member will manually register you to attend the event free-of-charge.

Registration: Pre-registration is required to attend. You are welcome to include in your registration notes what sizes/gender clothing you are ISO.

Relief Parenting is hosting Nicole Pietrantonio, a pediatric surgical nurse practitioner and owner of The Piercing Practitioner. Nicole will be offering her piercing services in a welcoming, safe, and encouraging environment.

This pop-up Open Play will take place in our exercise room from 10:00-12:00. Stay the whole time or come for an hour! We will have a slide, stepping stones, soft climbing blocks, a balance beam, tunnel, yoga balls and more set up for you and your little ones.

Join Marcia, Art Spot's preschool art instructor for a pop-up art class. Marcia will have various age appropriate art activities, sing some songs, and have fun.

Pelvic Floor and Core is a workshop focused on being able to connect to and support your pelvic floor. You will be guided by Ashton Frey, Pelvic Floor OT, through simple ways you can begin caring for yourself and your body. This workshop will go over anatomy and functions, learning how to connect and bring awareness to, and learning how to utilize your core and breathe to support your pelvic floor.
