Gain professional perspectives and combined knowledge from three practitioners as they answer your questions about ADHD. 

Join Dr. Kelly from Tailored Pediatric, Katie Baseden from Navigating special Needs, and Christin Keegan, SLP from Creating Connection, and moderator Krista Maltais from Relief Parenting as they discuss:

  • The diagnostic process

  • The medical model approach to ADHD

  • Treatment options

  • How to help your family thrive if one member has ADHD

  • Give tips on the process at schools use 

  • General parent concerns

There will be a Question and Answer portion and you will have the ability to ask the three professionals any question you have about ADHD. This event is open to all parents, caregivers, and professionals that have children or care for children with ADHD.

Dr. Kelly Parker-Mello, MD, FAAP, owner of Tailored Pediatric

Dr. Kelly is a child health expert with a broad understanding of the present-day challenges to our children’s health and well-being.  She uses her vast knowledge of medicine to provide top-level care based on current recommendations and guidelines. Her curiosity for the sciences pushes her to look beyond the boundaries of her western medicine training.


Katie Baseden, owner of Navigating Special Needs


Katie Baseden is a special educator with over 15 years of experience.

As a special educator, Katie recognizes the complexities of the special education world and is passionate about helping families be successful. Katie helps parents and caregivers develop an approach to manage the challenges of school, home, and the community. She helps parents navigate the IEP process, and offers home-based services to create a positive environment for childhood development. Katie offers strategies to develop and nurture relationships with their children.


Christin Keegan, MS, CCC-SLP, CALC, co-owner of Creating Connection


Christin Keegan earned her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2008 Since then, she has worked with preteens, teens and parents of kids that struggle with a variety of executive functions and social challenges. My clients come to me both with and without a formal ADHD or other diagnosis. Christin currently has a private speech therapy practice in southern ME. In addition to other speech & language skills, she works with kids and teens with a variety of neurodivergences on "social skills", like self-awareness, self-advocacy, and conflict resolution
