Integrative Pelvic Health
Meet Ashton
Hi! I’m Ashton Frey, OTR/L and I am an Occupational Therapist who specializes in women's pelvic floor therapy and myofascial release.
I received my Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern Maine. I have worked in a pediatric clinic in Maine and skilled nursing facilities in New Hampshire. While working in skilled nursing facilities, I discovered a trend that most of my female patients struggled with incontinence, prolapse and/or years of side effects after having a hysterectomy or bladder surgery. After extensive research on pelvic floor therapy and taking courses focused on bladder and bowel function, pregnancy and postpartum and pelvic pain conditions, I knew this was my calling.
I strive to create a safe space for women to receive high quality Pelvic Floor Therapy that is unique to each persons needs. I develop individualized treatment programs that are rooted in daily activities and routines. I am passionate about treating every person as a whole, not as just an injury, pain or dysfunction.
I also offer Myofascial Release to decrease pain and restore function. This technique uses gentle sustained pressure to allow the fascial system in the body to release tension and soften. I work on the parts of the body that are most restricted to achieve a whole body structural release and realignment. This technique is beneficial for anyone with new or chronic pain.
I live in Seacoast, NH with my husband. I enjoy traveling, going to the beach, skiing, running, and spending time with family and friends.
